9700 people dead as a result of heat waves and counting, this is the official estimate of people who have died between 2004 -2013 according to National Crime Record of Bureau in India.
In 2015, 1100 people have died in India as a result of heat strokes caused by heat waves reaching temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius. The roads were seen melting and the zebra crossing lines ended up forming snake lines.
To explain heat stroke in a finer language is; imagine someone putting you in an oven and setting the temperature at 50 degrees Celsius, your will experience a crazy headache and your blood vessels would finally burst leading to instant death due to hemorrhage.
People in India have resorted to taking showers at times 10 times a day and staying indoors. This reminds me of RIDDICK the movie by Vin diesel, where people stay indoors during the day and only come out at night. The million dollar question is ;are we there yet or are we heading towards climate change.
Planting trees and reducing green house gases will be a duty of all humanity.
climate change is like Karma and its coming back to bite us.
